I am a disabled dog and today is my birthday
Today is my birthday, and though I am a disabled dog, it is a day filled with joy and celebration. Life has not always been easy for me. I’ve faced challenges that most dogs don’t experience, but each day is a new adventure, and today is no exception.
As the sun rises, I am greeted with warm smiles and gentle pats from my human family. They’ve decorated the house with colorful balloons and a big banner that reads “Happy Birthday!” It fills my heart with happiness to see how much they care.
My favorite part of the day is the special treat they have prepared for me. It’s a delicious cake made just for dogs, with flavors that make my tail wag uncontrollably. My humans sing to me, and though I don’t understand all the words, their voices are full of love.
Despite my disability, I have learned to find joy in the simple things. Whether it’s the warmth of the sun on my fur or the companionship of my family, every moment is a gift. On this special day, I am reminded of how fortunate I am to be surrounded by so much love.
