As if this wasn’t bad enough, his own family abandoned him at a shelter, unwilling to deal with the consequences of the attack. At the shelter, his condition worsened, and due to the severity of his injuries, euthanasia was considered the only option.
This is where Stinger’s luck began to turn. Carri Shipaila, founder of LuvnPupz rescue, heard about Stinger’s plight and knew she couldn’t let him down. She rushed to the shelter, taking Stinger under her wing and giving him the care he desperately needed.

Stinger was diagnosed with Pemphigus, an autoimmune disease he’d have to manage for the rest of his life. The high costs of his ongoing medical care meant adoption wasn’t a possibility.
However, this didn’t deter LuvnPupz. They found Stinger a loving foster family who would provide him with a permanent home filled with love and care. LuvnPupz would continue to support Stinger’s medical needs and therapy, ensuring he received the best possible life.
